Terms of service

Last updated October 24, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Shopbird, and Atomi Design LLC ("Shopbird", "we"). By installing or using the Shopbird app, its API or its webhooks, you agree to them. If you're accepting for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

1. The service

Shopbird is a Shopify app that locks products, collections, pages, blogs or a whole store so only the shoppers you choose can see and buy them, and that runs scheduled product drops. Checks at checkout use Shopify's checkout validation. We may improve, change or remove features over time, and we'll tell you in the app before removing something you rely on.

2. Your account

You use Shopbird through your Shopify store, and Shopify's own terms also apply. You're responsible for who on your staff can use the app and for keeping your API tokens and webhook secrets safe. You can revoke a token at any time.

3. Plans and billing

4. Your responsibilities

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Shopbird to:

We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts other stores at risk, and we'll tell you why.

6. The API and webhooks

Paid plans include the Shopbird API and webhooks. Use them within the documented scopes and rate limits. We version the API and announce breaking changes in the API docs ahead of time.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep Shopbird running, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Shopify's platform, your theme and other apps can all affect it. Support is by email at support@shopbird.app.

8. Ending

You can stop at any time by uninstalling Shopbird. Use "Prepare to uninstall" in Settings first to put every product, page and post back the way it was. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or right away for a serious breach of these terms. When you uninstall, we delete your store's data as described in the privacy policy.

9. Disclaimers

Shopbird is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Locks raise the effort needed to reach content, but no access control is perfect, so don't rely on Shopbird alone to protect information that must stay secret.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Shopbird's total liability under these terms is limited to what you paid for Shopbird in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll post changes here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days ahead. Continuing to use Shopbird after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Questions: support@shopbird.app, or Atomi Design LLC, PO Box 2787, Telluride, CO 81435.
